The best creative requires equal parts art and science. It has to move people’s emotions, and it has to be measurable and move the bottom line.

I see deep beauty in science and systems, interactions and relationships. I’m interested in anything and everything, and the natural world is a creative muse. I possess a rare combination of deeply creative and innovative thinking, paired with a keen attention to detail. I have the unique gift of being able to take large amounts of seemingly disparate data, distilling it, drawing creative and thoughtful conclusions, and communicating them in concise, meaningful and beautiful ways.

ALWAYS LEARNING.

With 10+ years of both client-side and agency design and creative experience, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a number of amazing projects with many really talented people. Here’s a brief overview.
01. DIGITAL.

Digital media beat traditional in a bar fight a few years back, and I helped it flip some tables. I’ve assisted two companies in moving to a majority-digital marketing mix. I’ve led creative for numerous website redesigns, from simple WordPress sites all the way up to massive CMS overhauls. I’ve contributed heavily to both web and mobile application designs, inbound digital campaigns, interactive landing pages and more.

02. BRANDING.

Brand is sacred. From my early days of managing a deeply branded multi-million-dollar clothing store, (hint: I’m forever scarred by loud music and Fierce cologne), to more recently overseeing the creative for the rebrand of a billion-dollar multinational corporation–I. KNOW. BRANDING.

03. MARKETING.

Marketing is all about the numbers. Here are some fun ones:

  • At TransUnion I led a team of designers on projects that in 2016 and 2017 closed $31M+ in sales, and added $62M+ to the pipeline.
  • At Boomm I learned inbound marketing; the most successful campaign cost $40k, and brought in $4M for our client.
  • At Schwarz I designed marketing and packaging for the launch of a new division; it made $2.5M in the first year.
